Here are some sweet moments between Miss A & Mr M this past week.
These 2 cuties had their share of pushing, pulling, screaming, etc….they are toddlers after all, but nothing was as good as the sweetness they both are…especially when they are together 🙂

We have had some visitors this week. Â The kind of visitors that you wish lived here all the time! Â Our friends the G Family are really the best.
We had a nice morning at the beach the other day when the weather cooperated and gave us some sunshine!

I know that I’ve mentioned how awesome my Grandma was…but I have one more thing to show off!
One of her many talents was knitting. Â She was a great knitter and always was making us sweaters! Â The other day when we were visiting with my mom we pulled out the old bin with “Grandma” sweaters! Â My mom packed them really well & everything was in perfect condition! Â Check out A wearing the cardigan my Grandma made for me when I was a baby!
Keep your eyes out for more beautiful sweaters….I have heard the 80’s are BACK and these are the most authentic 80’s pieces there are! Â Each one finished with a tag…”Made with Love by Grandma”
We had a quick visit where A got to meet her newest cousin CJ. Â We had fun! Â Here are some shots from the night…A wanted mostly to tickle CJ’s feet & CJ’s Mommy & Daddy needed her to sleep a little so we don’t have too many shots of the little angel awake!

I miss you every single day. Â I can’t stand to think about all of the things you are missing. Â Instead, I’ll hope you’re watching everything from way up high. Â I am one of the lucky ones who got to have you in their life. Â Even after 11 years, it still makes no sense that you aren’t here.
I hope you see what an amazing person Miss A is.
I hope A realizes one day how lucky she is to have a Grandma that is part you. Â A Grandma that is her best friend.
Words can’t express the emptiness in my heart…only filled now by watching A with her Grandma.
I hope we make you proud up there! Â I know I’m trying!

Mister LK has been hard at work taking apart that sucker and the yard is slowly showing it’s face again!
He has also been working elsewhere in our house…
He tells me the crawl space is immaculate. Â I will never know, as over my dead body would be the only way I’d go down there!
Thanks Mister LK for all of your very hard work around our home. Â We all appreciate it more than you know!
A little late in the day, but I haven’t been near the computer in days…forgive me CJ!
Wishing this beautiful little munchkin a happy baby naming day. Â I hope she loves her name & knows how loved she is…especially by her LK family.
We are sorry we couldn’t be there with you to celebrate, but we are so happy we got to see you last weekend. Â A loves you very much.
My little girl has a best friend. Â They are adorable together. Â These girls melt my heart.
I hope these girls are friends forever. Â There is nothing better than a forever friend.
A forever friend of mine once told me I was passive aggressive. Â I couldn’t see it. Â I totally was. Â I’m going to try to teach A not to be that way…but it certainly is easier to be passive aggressive than confrontational! Â I’m also going to try to teach her to be the best friend she can be, because even though there are going to be times when that friendship is taken for granted, it is always better to be the one who gave it their best shot & loved, supported, listened …
I’m sure she’ll figure it out on her own that sometimes you’ve just gotta be a little selfish!!!
For now, they’ll take turns being pushed in the toy stroller!
I used to go to the grocery store every day. Â I never put meat in the freezer that needed to be defrosted to cook. Â I bought fresh produce nightly.
My how times have changed!
If I had to go to the grocery store everyday, I would be arrested. Â My charges would include theft, since A INSISTS on eating an apple from the grocery store every time we go in. Â It is the only thing that will keep her quiet for 15 minutes while I run around and grab my items.
Another change is HOW I shop. Â I used to roam the isles remembering if I needed/wanted something as I went. Â Now…I need a list. Â A specific, categorized by area, exact amounts, concise list. Â So before we head out I try to go through my pantry & refrigerator & see what we need…put it on a list…and I usually take a photo with my phone of this list because if I dare carry a paper around the store…some tiny little hands are surely going to want to rip that paper into 100 pieces!
A is learning….she also wants to make a list!
She makes a great list…items include corn, broccoli, apple, grapes, and cookies!
