How is it April tomorrow??? My baby is going to be 1 year old in LESS THAN A MONTH????  I don’t understand how time is flying, and I don’t care to.  I just want it to stop.  I know it won’t – so I guess I’ll just embrace the camera today so that I can capture memories of us together while she’s still a baby!

The other day, A woke up and when we came to sit in the living room with Uncle C, she put her head down on my shoulder and relaxed her whole body and snuggled with me for a whole 10 minutes.  It was the best feeling ever.  No wriggling, no squirming, no whining, just snuggling with Mommy!  I thought I would try that first thing in the morning thing again ….. no surprise, my giggler just wouldn’t have it!

Oh well…it was good while it lasted, and having a little giggler on my hands wasn’t so bad either!!!

Good Morning!

We took this last Thursday…even though we didn’t post it last week!  We went to Westchester to visit our friends and spend the day with Auntie E.  I haven’t figured out how to blog from my blackberry yet, so this had to wait for this week!

A, TR & Mommy on TR's backyard ice rink...how cool!

TR’s Daddy had this rink put in their backyard so that his boys could skate.  TR is an INCREDIBLE ice skater! & he is pretty awesome at hockey too!  He’s not even 4 yet and the way he skates is just incredible.  We had a beautiful day for our visit and the rink was a little watery since 75 degrees and sunny has a tendency to melt ice!  A had fun being walked around the rink too.  She loved watching TR skate around and play!

We had a FANTASTIC week with our friends A & M.  The babies played SO nicely together.  A is actually having M withdrawl here in her playroom freaking out because she’s all alone!  We are going to miss them like crazy over here.  We had a very busy week filled with good excitement, a little falling down scare, a party, lots of playing & too much eating!

Today is going to be the start of a fabulous week!!!  Our NC family is coming for a visit!!!!!!!!!  Can you tell I’m a little excited?!

M - 6 weeks old. First time in NYC!

Today, M & his Mommy are coming for a week!  A WHOLE WEEK!  Except, that sweet little sleeping baby is long gone…and now we’re kid proofing what we can, because we have a REAL BOY coming over!  This kid is all boy.  Climbing on everything!  So glad we have just 1 step!  Here’s what we’re looking forward to!

E, PD, A & Mommy!

We had our 2nd swim lesson last night.  After a long day of Aunt D, E, PD, A & Mommy being in the car & trying to shop but being unsuccessful, we ended up having a yummy lunch all the way out in Huntington.  We like to travel for lunch apparently!  The girls ate a pancake, and as usual A had her pickles!  The ride home was a disaster for A and she didn’t sleep AT ALL in the afternoon.  The swim lesson was more of an exercise in getting her NOT to cry!  By the time she got home she was asleep and we just stuck her right in the crib with her clothes on and all!!!  I was NOT risking the terrible “overtired A”.  Fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice….not gonna happen!

Anywho…I’m going to go wake up the little angel now!  She’s singing in her crib!

A big HAPPY BIRTHDAY M!!!!

Dear M,

Mommy said I could write you a Happy Birthday card, which I did, and then she forgot to mail it.  It’s probably not the first time she’ll disappoint me but then she told me I could write you a birthday note here and I forgave her!

I want to wish you the happiest first birthday!  Can you believe how old we’re getting?  I think it’s really funny how we’re freaking our Mommies out by getting so big, and doing so many new things every day!  And teeth…yea…those are pretty funny too!  I am so glad that even though we live far apart, that we’ve gotten to see each other a bunch of times so we can nurture our future relationship as husband and wife.  Just to let you know, not to be a downer on your birthday, but I’ve got my eye on you…I saw this…

I hope you have the best birthday ever!  I heard about your Moms plans for your Mickey party and think she’s a great Mom for putting that cool party together for you!  I hope you get lots of cool presents and that most of them are toys.  These Mommies think we like clothes, but really, we’re 1!  I’m really excited for your visit to our house & also I hear we’re going to Florida soon too!  I can’t wait to swim with you again…I’m pretty sexy in a bathing suit!

OK, I’m going to go now and have a bottle for breakfast.  I miss you very much and can’t wait to see you!  Have the happiest birthday ever!  Congrats on being 1!

Baby A

Its been a week full of car rides for Mommy & A.  We spent Monday celebrating Gramma’s bday in NJ, Tuesday & Wednesday celebrating none other than the fabulous Cousin S in Brooklyn, and today we are getting recharged in our PJs at home!  I found a little tutu from a while ago and thought while we are home, I might as well torture my pretty girl and make her have an impromptu photo shoot…photos to come in another post.  Today’s embrace the camera edition is post-shoot & you can clearly see that I have not done ANT getting dressed today 😉  Oh well – We’re loving it.

A was not so sure how the camera was flashing all by itself…hence that look of “what the hell?!?!”
